New events rule changes!

You can now list 5 events per day versus 3. In addition, you can now allow anyone on your friends list to post and host an event on your land by designating the land in the Places directory as a meeting place.

Keep in mind that your friends will now be able to post events on a parcel that you own, only if you have set that parcel to show up in Find Places as a Meeting Place.

If it is not set to show up, or set to show up as another kind of Place, the parcel will not be available to your friends, but will continue to be subject to other availability rules.

As of May 16, you may post an event on the parcel if:

- If YOU personally own the parcel, and it is over 512 square meters in size.

- If the parcel is owned by a GROUP that you are a member of, AND it is over 512 square meters. (You do NOT have to activate that group title.)

- If the parcel is in a private island that you are on the access list of, AND it is over 512 square meters.

- If the parcel belongs to Governor Linden, and it is set to show in Find Places as a meeting place.

- If the parcel belongs to a friend, and it is set to show in Find Places as a meeting place, AND it is over 512 square meters.

You may currently post up to 5 events within any 23 hour and 45 minute period. This allows you to post, effectively, 5 events a day, and then post the next day at the same time.
