We have just kicked everyone off of the grid due to a system-wide problem, possibly due to Resident action. Thank you for your patience, we are working on the problem and will post updates as they are available.

Approximately 1/2 an hour ago the grid was been taken down due to an IM object in the Welcome Area which spewed IMs at a victim and caused our IM subsystem to become overwhelmed. We are deploying an emergency fix to prevent this type of exploit in the future.
This means that the grid will be down for about 5 hours, which is the amount of time it takes to bring the grid down, install the patch and bring the grid back up. We anticipate the grid being back up by 11:00pm PST/ SLT (Second Life Time).

The Grid is back up for internal testing. We will update you as soon as we have more information.
