Just a reminder re: events and the event calendar. The event calendar lists events run by Linden Lab and events run by Second Life Residents. These events should be considered open to all unless otherwise noted. For example, if a LindenBall Team wanted to schedule a strategy session they should be able to say "team members only." Event hosts are trying to make your Second Life experience one which is fun, unique and exciting, so please remember our Community Standards when participating. Community Standards are available under Policies within the Announcements thread.
Potential violations of Community Standards will be investigated promptly by Linden Lab. In order to provide the information necessary for investigation, Residents should utilize the "Report Abuse" function under the Help menu. By using this tool we can get all the necessary information and open an investigation. Utilizing reporting paths outside of this tool - IM, forums, etc - make it more difficult for us to follow-up appropriately.
Remember that “unsafe” areas where your health meter is turned on – such as the Outlands – have different norms, namely more aggressive physical interaction is permitted.
