Map problem and daily 3 PM texture problem

You may have noticed problems uploading textures and changing clothes that seemed to occur at 3 PM and 3 AM Pacific time each day since 1.5. We figured out that it was because the asset server decided it was under attack by the terrain info on the map updating at that time. Until we can do an overall fix for the problem (scheduled for Tuesday, 9-21) we've turned off the updating function on the map. That means you'll see plenty of missing data panels on the map until then. Also, for less than five minutes each day at 3 PM, you won't be able to upload textures or change clothes. If you try and fail, just wait a few minutes and try again. Since there is less use of the system at 3 AM, you probably won't notice. If all goes well, all these problems go away on Tuesday.
