Classes
There are currently 3 classes in SL. Radiks has finished; Bear and Walkabout is active, and the newest class, from the University of Nevada, Reno, is just getting started. Their class name is Futura. For more information on these classes and what they're learning, see the previous announcement on Spring Classes.

Researchers
There are also two research projects starting. Both of these projects have been approved and the researchers have agreed to abide by the Research Ethics Policy. When in-world, as observers or interviewers, they will have the title Researcher so you recognize them. Please remember you are under no obligation to participate in their research.

Durkheim Edelbrock - University of Chicago
Is interested in the sex industry in SL. His research is part of classwork, not for publication, and should be complete by March 25.

Morgan Macdonald and Kris Spaight - Georgia Tech
Interested in gender roles in SL. They will be developing a paper based on their interviews, and are willing to share the results with anyone who participates.
