We're gearing up for the third round of LindenWorld development -- this time with a number of important changes. First, we're consolidating the thrills and chills of LindenWorld into a single region, Coney, in order to make room for the all-new Luna Shopping Center next door. Second, LindenWorld's promoters will now have the chance to participate in Second Life's Developer Incentives program! Linden Dollar awards for dwell in 1.2 will be more that triple the current levels. Combine that with the chance to earn real-world money and theme park plots are certain to be popular with developers and visitors alike; and a single-sim LindenWorld means these plots are more scarce than ever. To sweeten the deal even more, half of Coney will remain Linden-owned -- meaning the owners of LindenWorld land will have twice as many objects per square meter!

Under v1.2 rules, LindenWorld plots will count against your land allotment -- but that's a small price to pay for such prime land. Those who qualify will also have the option of smaller plots. The current crop of LindenWorlders will pack up and release their land in the coming week. As usual, the builders of the 16 most popular attractions --check this link for a list -- will have the option to stay on and get first choice of Coney plots beginning *the week of January 5th. Should any of the sweet sixteen decline, LindenWorld land will to offered to other Second Life Residents, starting with those on the waiting list.
