Gamasutra has asked us to write a paper about the economic activity in SL since we changed the economy in December. While we will talk about the general health of the economy, we thought it would be more interesting to be able to discuss specific examples of entrepreneurial behavior that either did or did not work. We're interested in both successes and failures and will only be using the data to talk about general themes – i.e., I won't be mentioning residents by name -- in order to describe general trends of the people making an effort to earn L$. For example, clothing works but dental instruments do not. Or, making guns work, scripted underwear does not.
