UPDATE:
As of 4:20pm SLT, the Second Life grid is still down. We are working to fix the sim crash issues from earlier this morning.
We believe we have identified the source of the problem, have a fix, and are in the process of verifying it.

Sorry to sound like a broken record here, but as I'm sure you've noticed the grid is still down. As previously mentioned, we're working on getting the fix verified. Progress is being made, and we'll have real news soon, hopefully!
On behalf of many very tired Lindens: thank you for your patience and understanding. We know this has been a great inconvenience and are working as fast as we can to get things back in shape.
