For some reason in the 1.10 preview grid I can't turn on effects like water ripple and animophic filtering, and a few othere bump mapping options. I'm able to use them in the normal grid still, and I'm using an Nvidia 6200 with 256mb RAM and the latest driver

Moved to Preview 1.10.0 Feature Feedback.
I don't know why this is--anyone else having the same problem on the same setup?
Also, Linnian, when did you first notice this happen on Preview--has it always been a problem? And did you send a bug report from the HELP menu already?

didn't seem like a bug. it's only in 1.10 preview and has always been
the check boxs are all dark too

Could you file a bug report on this please, and reply to the autoresponse email with a copy of your secondlife.log file the same goes for anybody else seeing options grayed out that they know shouldnt be. and please make sure your using the latest official drivers if possible direct from nvidia/ati
The file can be found in
c:\documents and settings\username\application data\secondlife\logs\secondlife.log

it works now but it may have just been fixed by 1.10.32
