Please make sure you Caps Lock key is off, and that you have the correct account name and password...

Anyone know why I am getting this, I know the info is correct!

Did you change your password recently? Do you remember what it was just before approximately March 27, 2006? (The date when the Preview database "snapshot" of your account was taken.) See if an older password works, Kael. :)

If you are talking about the preview, I don't get that message but so far every second version update that comes out I can't log into at all.

I get crashed out on the log-in screen with various spurious error messages like the "region not being available" and so forth (none of which are actually true), I also get asked constantly if I want to use the "new settings" with my SecondLife.app as if the system is confusing the library settings for the regular SL and the preview SL.

I don't know if this is usual since this is the first time I ever tried using a preview, but so far the first version worked fine, the second one can't log in at all, third one fine, fourth one can't log in at all etc...

Just as a suggestion, it would really clarify things if the preview app was actually named differently from the regular app and did not try to install itself in the exact same location. Even though a modern OS should not have a problem with it, it's really just common sense not to have two programs of the same name in the same directory.

All I get is the 'Login Failed' msg, which takes just a few seconds to appear. The only thing I have changed in my account details since March 27th was my Visa details. Taking in to account the 'snapshot' reasoning, could this be why I get the failure msg?

Hmm, that's identical to my problem, as my old credit card expires this month so I changed it a few weeks back. Could that mean it thinks I'm no longer a valid user or such?

Looks like no, this isn't what's happening here, Poledra--I also posted here, it's happening to me too!

Confirmed.
Same "login failed" message for me as well.
*edit*
I haven't changed anything on my account also.

Problems with hardware causing login issues

There is a problem with the new hardware which has caused the grid to be unreachable right now. We're working to resolve this as quickly as possible!
