
but just make a tall object, a box for example. set its sizes to it looks like a pillar, and check flexible prims. it seems to go crazy, and "spin" around itself... can't explain. im sure its easy to reproduce tho.

First, i think this feature is completly amazing.. i finnaly get to make my cape

You need to tweak the options. Wind will make it flop around especially if softness is 3, tension 0, and drag/friction 0. However, there is a known issue with flex prims twitching (missing a frame, supposedly, but I think it's something else) when the camera zooms in/out.
