I just popped over to ATI's website, downloaded and installed the new driver update package for my video card: RADEON Catalyst 6.4
I go to login to preview, and up pops a big, official looking, grey SL warning window, which says:
"Your ATI RADEON graphics driver on this computer is out of date.
This is a piece of software that controls your graphics card.
Old drivers can cause 3D graphics programs like Second Life to run slowly or crash.
We strongly reccomend upgrading to the "Catalyst 3.8" driver, available for free download from ATI."
I'm having a WTF moment, here.
