I was just wondering if it were possible to load, like for a few hours or a day certain parts of the main grid. I personally would like to see how the preview client impacts The Forest, as well as TeaZers (which could really use a good occlusion culling routine). I'm sure other people would like to see how their favourite spots end up rendering too.

Psst...[steps out of the shadow and looks around cautiously]...just remove " --siva" from the SL Siva preview shortcut...[disappears back into the shadow]

Yeah, I know, but all manner of wonkiness COULD happen with the preview client and I'd rather not have any losses due to glitches be permanent. Not to mention that I can't test hardware lighting on prims on the main grid, and there are still many "Light" material objects in all parts of the grid that the client might choke on.

tried that already lol

All it does is tell me my client isn't up to date and forces me to download the latest main grid patch.
