The title says it all...does anyone here know the hotkey combo to disable all huds/chat/etc for making movies? Thanks in advance!

Actually there is a way to hide huds, just hit alt + shift + h.

I've read two suggestions on the issue of Ctl-Alt-1 no longer working. One of them says to do a Ctl-Alt-D (which seems to toggle my Clent/Server menu items) followed by a Ctl-Alt-F1 (which doesn't seem to do anything. The other comment in this stream just mentions Ctl-Alt-F1.

My GUI is unaffected by any of these. What am I missing?

On Mac OS X, cnt-opt-F1 will hide the interface. As far as I can tell, after carefully looking through all of the client menu options, you can't disable huds from being shown.

If you can't get cnt-opt-F1 to work, you may want to consider reinstalling SL from scratch. Go to your Applications folder and throw away the Second Life folder. Then download and install from the website again.

Alt-Shift-H allows you to turn off and turn on HUD attachments.

Hate to be the odd one out, but what is this control sequence for the Linux client?? I hit ctl-Alt-F1 and I close down X and wind up at a console prompt.. I recently deserted the DarkSide (Windows) and am trying to shoot some video using XVidcap inside SL...
