Doesn't the Universal Binary build have this as a menu option, built right into the software? At least, I thought I saw a menu option like that, although admittedly I haven't tried it. If I'm thinking correctly, it should be right next to the option for taking a still screenshot.

I tried. It work perfectly and make some nice quicktime file  and thx to the dual core cpu,i have no FPS drop at all while capturing (and compress on-the-fly) at 1440x900. ... MBP for teh win  |
