The hud control buttons work but I cannot see the hud control buttons. The buttons are the same colour as the background. So I cannot see them. I have reset the transparency and hud texture and colour but i still cannot see the buttons.

Are you saying that your HUD is now completely black? Maybe send me a picture in world. I'll be happy to take a look at it directly.
