I just dropped a bunch of new animations in my Animator HUD, then when I reattached it none of the buttons worked, not even the minimizer.

I just dropped a bunch of new animations in my Animator HUD, then when I reattached it none of the buttons worked, not even the minimizer. If nothing is happening at all, the most likely explanation is that you accidentally removed the scripts. Unfortunately, because of the brilliant SL user interface, this happens all the time.
