Can resmods move a thread without leaving the "Moved" redirect notice?

As far as I remember, yes. Though I only used it twice.

The one thing to note is that the forum option by default leaves that redirect. Perhaps that can be changed?

We have been instructed not to leave redirects if the thread is blatently in the wrong forum. If it has cross forum appeal that is when redirects are left.

We can, I seem to forget more often than not to remove them. Especially when first coming in for the day. I apolagise and will try to do so
