I think the resident moderator program is working fine. The forums seem better to me since the program started. It seems more like a place for productive, cordial discusson of the Second Life virtual environment than it used to..

The forums seem worse off to me.. maybe I don't have any nifty rose colored glasses..

I think the resmod program is making a horrible impact.

Suez, i have to agree with you.

the main negativity on the forums has been the debate about ResMods itself.

sometimes it seems threads jump about a bit wildly, but the attempt to do so properly is sincere.

i think credit must also shine on Linden moderation as well. not only are they still moderating, but they have the added responsibility of helping ResMods perform within guidelines and as community-driven as possible.

it may also be that everyone got tired of getting all worked up and the overall desire to bring back more positive threads culminated in SLers doing exactly that on their own.

in other words.. thanks to EVERYone! :D

The resmods are doing a good job given the tragically horrible program. The sooner the program disappears, the better.
