I get the impression from reading the SL forums that I should hate ResMods., because they are Not Good™.
/me hates resmods.
Now that I've done that, could someone let me know why I hate them so much? Last time I checked they hadn't interfered with any threads I posted, banned me from the forums, or run over my cat. In fact, I can't really see any signs of ResMod action at all. Which MEans wither it's working well, or not at all.
So what am I missing?

The reasons are simple - Resmods have power.
- Resmods are part of the establishment.
- Resmods make mistakes.
As a resmod I will address each of these. - We really don't have that much power. (oh my gosh he can move a thread, it's the end of the world)
- And the establishment doesn't force pop-up ads on you. Maybe the establishment isn't totally corrupt.
- So does everyone else; we try not to.
We resmods were either volunteered or were asked to volunteer. There is no head resmod, there is no power structure to sleep/work your way up. Overall things are pretty tame. The Resmod-only forum is free of the drama that afflicts the rest of the forums. The politics that everyone has come to expect (and hate) from the offices of power are absent from the internals of the Resmod program, it's really kinda nice.

Well, now I'm in a quandry. You give me plenty of reasons to respect ResMods, but at the same time you failed to deliver what I asked, which was reasons to hate you, thereby meaning 100% of my interactions with ResMods have not given me what I asked for.

Can't hate the resmods..isn't right
now hating the resmod PROGRAM..thats your own choice
tear it down..we can build it better with the community helping at each step..
