if you love the resmod program, this thread is for you!

i love the resmod program because they are like an extra staple of NPCs. before we only had Lindens towing the company line who we could particle bomb in the face. now we can also blast resmods.

also, since resmods take their job "really seriously," much more than a real moderator would, they provide plenty of great material to play back and forth against the resmods and the anti resmods.

lastly, without resmods, there would be nothing to discuss in the forums except whether hiro and flipper's occasional spams in the general forum are actually of interest to the second life community and the L$ going down.

I love the ResMods because they took the drama level of the forums from a solid 7 to an almost-perfect 9.9. All we need to get that tenth of a point we need is to start advertising SL Age Play in newsgroups.

I think watching that the ResMod program "evolve" has the same sort of "fascination" aspect as watching a "successful" person engage in self-destucting behavior, traffic accident gawking, or a compost pile changing over time. Once you "get into it", it's mesmerizing... definitely love the train wreck about to happen aspect!

I think the thing I love the most about the ResMod program is wagering with my friends on how long it will take in minutes for a particular thread to be moved or closed.

It's added a whole 'nother level of fun to these forums!

I love the resmod program because it gives all those who find satisfaction in spamming the forums with 'witty comments' a target to focus on. This has at least reduced the volume of 'witty comments' in the threads I tend to read; not much but every little bit helps.

I love the Resmod program for the endless supply of threads that it has spawned since its inception plus the cherry pie filling.

The forums are really only interesting when everyone is bitching and moaning about the inflammatory topic of choice.
