I just got Linux ubuntu today and know abousolutly....about it and I need to get back on line as of yesterday literaly how do i get this program to run or what ever so i can do that...im a former xp user so please talk to me like im an idiot cause i am when it comes to this stuff

I love this post  It would be nice to have, but I feel you may wait a while if you ask like that. We can HELP you do your installation, and we will, if we are inspired to do so. A couple of tips to make it POSSIBLE to help you: a) Realize its YOUR installation; you are going to do it, not us. It does not really hurt us one bit if you are stuck  b) Search through the forum for what is already known. Do that. c) When you have something to show for your efforts, that we could help clear up, post it in the required detail to make it possible to help you. d) Good luck, you will need it

Windows to big and sl still not running

Ok I recied some help and now my windows is to big and I still cant get sl to run...what do I do. The person that was helping me is now offline so im stuck in a bad situation with and oversized screen
