How to disable textures or low quality ?

hi there
my question is, how can i disable all textures, so the wont load to RAM memory.
Or meaby there is option to downoad low quality of textures?
i am trying to recude MEMORY usage, if you know any way to do this, just tell me
(i made lowest settings in preferences but this isnt enough!

If not, try this - that setting is misleading, it doesn't actually tell SL how much VRAM is present, but effects a formula that determines texture LOD (Level Of Detail). Setting it as low as possible is the only way I know to do what you want without changing source code!

There is also a Render->Disable Textures option in the "Client" menu (Ctrl-Alt-Shift-D to show it). Though this might only effect rendering, not texture downloads. Poke around in the Client menu for other possible options for general RAM saving too.
