1.10.2.2 New crash! (trying to reproduce)

After the update, one of my machines crashed repeatedly with errors about failing to rename files in the cache. I've deleted everything in the cache, and I'm trying to reproduce the error now, although it seems more stable.

If you get a similar error, try wiping your cache!

I had this happened when I first isntalled, whipe everything out and install it again.

Just clearing the cache seems to do it. Can't reproduce it after that.

Each install must be totally clean of previous ones. Copying over causes problems for it. Though it seems once it crashes from it once that happens is one crash.

I got this problem to occur again, after a day of playing... crash, login again, crash again. The crash comes in pairs, and it looks like it doesn't matter whether you clear the cache between...

It happened for me after I had deleted the cache directory, after having already run the updated client for a while. Doing a mkdir cache fixed the problem.

I've symlinked the cache to a ramdrive since then; the improvement is very noticeable...
