Client Black Screen sinc latest Ubuntu update (or creash??)

Suddenly client 1.21 an 1.22 gives me a black screen

Tried deleting client folder and re-installing
Tried re-installing Nvidia drivers (synaptic)
Tried reinstalling Mozilla files (synaptic)

from terminal window i get this

I heard a number of Windows people complaining about black-screen problems with the latest update, so it's definitely a viewer issue and not a Linux one.

This gave me the excuse to move to 8.10. solved the problem :/
