I've used the Linux version and Windows version of the Second Life viewers.
What doesn't seem to happen in the Linux version, but does in the Windows version, and every other video game ive played, when you zoom in on an object the FPS goes up really high, like looking at the sky because there is not a lot to render.
This obviously increases general fps quite a bit.
I've noticed this doesnt happen on the linux version. Is a programming thing, or a driver thing? Anyone got any idea's?
Either way, occlusion culling will fix this I would imagine.
