I'm trying to install sl on my computer and don't know exactly how to do
could someone help me?
My computer:
Asus G1 with nvidia geforce go 7700, processor core 2 T7200, 2ghz memory
and Kubuntu
the version of sl i've download is the 1.19.1.4
what should i do?

For unpacking the package and for starting the application see:
/263/75/165264/1.html

(Sorry about the markup-garbage there, that's due to http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-156
To make it short: run tar -xjf SecondLife_*.tar.bz2 to unpack, cd into the new directory and run ./secondlife to launch the viewer)

If you get errors on launching, check if you've got 3D acceleration working.
