Second Life version you are running:
1.18.4.3 Freezes after about 10-15 minutes, will lock system
1.18.2.1 Does not freeze
graphics card:
Nvidia Geforce 5600
driver:
NVidia binary X.Org driver ('new' driver)

NVIDIA binary XFree86 4.x/X.Org 'new' driver

How about 1.18.5.1 or the new windlight client? Do they freeze zoo? Maybe its something that got already fixed in those newer versions.

-Asriazh Freezes for me too. If I edit out a line as advised in the readme then it works but I just tried 1.18.2.1 and it works perfectly without any editing and looks much better! I'm using an integrated Intel card on my Dell Laptop with 256 MB video RAM. Also the 'Cool Release' crashes on me. |
