I am currently running linux on two platforms, windows XP and Ubuntu fiesty (7.04)on an Acer notebook with Intel video drivers.
On windows, it runs good, but with lower frame rate.
On linux, the framerate is vastly improved, however there is an annoying "blackout" whenever I attempt to click anywhere with the mouse. The entire SL window blanks black for a second and then comes back whenever the mouse is pressed. Any input you were attempting to do responds after the blank second.
Any idea what this is and how to fix it?
Thanks!

Black windows in Ubuntu are usually a consecuence of nvidia current driver + beryl. In this case (it may be yours, Anastasiya), try not to keep many windows open (firefox, etc), and resize the SL window a little (or select Metacity as window manager while in SL).
However, Venitulia, your problem seems to be a different one (because it happens when you click), sorry I cannot help you!

ah ty Bas
I thought it had to do with the graphics system in some way shape or form but was unaware of the beryl connection.....I know k/ubuntu is working in the advanced graphics options, but this is a new area for me.
