I just tried logging on with the new 1.13.0.8 client, and it caused an immediate crash of my X server. The SecondLife client did not generate any logs; the tail-end of the X.org log has the following info:

Backtrace:
0: /usr/bin/X(xf86SigHandler+0x9c) [0x80aeeb6]
1: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/nvidia_drv.so(_nv000398X+0x10b) [0xb736491b]

Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting

I'm running Gentoo Linux, kernel 2.6.17, X 7.1.1. I'm using the 1.0.8776 Nvidia drivers. I've got a Athlon XP 2800+ with 1GB of RAM, and a GeForce 6600GT AGP card with 128MB of video RAM.

What version of X? 7.0+ or previous?

As I said in my original post, 7.1.1.
