I mentioned this elsewhere, but at that time it caused a lockup and crash. (Previous SL Linux Alpha download) Now, sometime when I search inventory, it is not possible to enter text in the search field, but instead, the typed letter is used in the inventory tree as a "first letter" search. Other times, it works fine. It SEEMs to have to do with inventory not having been loaded at all, but I am not 100% certain of this. And GOOD news: SL Linux no longer crashes when searching inventory

Also if I begin a search, close and reopen my inventory, the search box is clear and all the inventory is listed. But the counter is still running. It'll continue to run until it reaches the end.
It's obviously not caching though because if I let it finish and begin another search, it starts all over again.

If I toggle caps-lock a couple of times it seems I can magically start to type into the inventory searcharea area.

Lemme debug the i/o routines and key controls for you. Logging into CVS .... oh wait. Nevermind.
