I'm using Ubuntu Feisty on an AMD Sempron 2400+, with a GeForce 4 MX 420 with 64 mb of video ram, nvidia binary drivers installed and running well. Second Life is 1.18.0.6.
I start the game and after some walk, the hard drive starts to run heavily and then the game crashes, offers me to send a crash report and exits.
If I try to rerun the game, it opens a black window and then exits with signal 6. I have to restart the X server to be able to run the game again for the same short walk and over again.
It's just so displeasing.
