After last Suse-update the SL-client crashes immediately after start.
Before this update there was no problem.
Is this a known issue?

Is this a known issue? I'm not having any trouble with Suse 11. Did you install the proprietary drivers for your video card? Suse just pushed a new kernel update. If you have the proprietary drivers from the vendor -- not the repositories -- they you have to reload your driver because the kernel and kernel headers have changed. Run SL from the command-line and see what errors you are getting.
