It seems to mainly happen when dropping items.
No error message though, the whole second life windows just disappears.
Ubuntu 6.10
AMD Duron 1.6ghz
1.2GB RAM
Geforce FX5200

i got almost the same configuration (i just have less ram and a geforce 5500 instead) and i got the same problem... Except that it also freezes the window sometimes... And now, impossible to try with FirstLook since it's no longer available

(just on another note. whats your fps like with the 5500, cause i get less than 15, which is harsh lol)

At the time of the post it was the most recent one. I'm downloading the very newest one as we speak.
No it doesn't always happen, its pretty infrequent. Hasn't happened in ages. But it was always during dropping an item.
