I updated my Intrepid system to Jaunty this am. Everything works correctly EXCEPT for the SL viewer. I am unable to see the image on the login screen (just shows loading... forever) and all the search tabs that use the new style interface (All, Showcase, Groups) won't return any results (show loading...). The old style search tabs (Classifieds, Events, Land Sales, Places, People) all work correctly.
Any ideas?
EDIT: Oh yeah, and the internal browser no longer works.

Are you sure your ports are opened properly? https://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417&task=knowledge&questionID=4355 i applied that (Second Life needs to connect to ports 443/TCP, 12035/UDP, 12036/UDP, 12043/TCP, and 13000-13050/UDP. ) but no luck to me too. i did already see image with Ubuntu, but still not in Kde (both 9.04), even though i opened ports said in your link. |
