Well, in many cases the pixels are copyright protected, so to all you to copy them would be....
Have you tried jsut the generic copy a rectangle fromthe screen approach? eel |

Doesn't work in Linux yet.. I think there is a hacky work-around somewhere on the forums, but I haven't tried it myself.

For now, copying from the client is not possible with the Linux client. Pasting into the client can be done by using one of the paste proxies, but I can't say that it's a simple ways of doing it. It's merely a workaround to get a bunch of text into a notecard, script editor or in rare cases directly into chat.
http://zi.furhome.net/ and http://stux.wikiinfo.org/ have solutions for the pasting problem. _____________________

This is the main reason I switched over to the Windows client running from Wine.
![]() Anyway, that does work well. Sound even works all right (not incredibly well, but...) if you muck with the settings some (turn on emulation everywhere you see it in winecfg, basically). Don't get me wrong: I'll still whine about the native Linux client not working, but now I have less visibility.... Heh. |
