Everything Flickers As You Turn Around

When turning, all surfaces flicker in and out seemingly intermittently, however the angle the camera is facing directly determines which surfaces will be invisible or not. As I turn around patches of the ground flicker in and out, trees disappear and reappear, and any prims attached to my avatar flicker in and out as well. Sometimes even other people's avatars disappear, though my personal avatar mesh never flickers. When I stop turning, the flickering stops at some indeterminate state where some surfaces are invisible and some are visible. Slight changes in angle will produce seemingly random appearance or disappearance of surfaces. If I walk in a straight line, and do not turn around, none of the invisible surfaces appear, and none of the visible surfaces disappear. This flickering even applies to invisiprims, where when they flicker out the mesh they're surrounding becomes visible.

My gut instinct tells me this is an issue with the client, since it's a remarkably stable glitch that waiting for textures to download does not solve. Highly annoying though, especially for those of us who try to stuff the old unimaginative avatar mesh off under an invisiprim, which flickers in and out revealing the misshapen pile of body parts following us around.

An example of the flickering:

I swear I searched for "flicker" before... sorry about that.
