Hi,

this is probably a stupid question, but what effect does it have when you change the value of that field in the Advanced graphics tab?

Thanks for your answers...

In the so called 'Debug Menus' (labeled 'Client' and 'Server', next to the 'Help' menu; press [crtl][alt][shift][D] to toggle them), there are several beacons that can be switched on. Those highlight things that aren't visible otherwise, like bounding boxes etc. I guess the "Debug Beacon Line Width" option changes how they are drawn (what OpenGL Line Width is used to draw them, to be more precise).

Didn't try though, just guessing from the name of the option.
