I just tried to log in (I'm running OpenSuSe and have had few problems so far), but a window pops up saying that I must download the update to my Applications folder. However hitting the download button crashes my client, and the Quit button just logs me out.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's trying to download the 1.8.3 Mac client. That isn't gonna work.

Besides the changes common to all clients (ie changes in the protocol, like the "editting appearance" next to the name); is there a way to know what changed specifically for the Linux client anywhere? (if any)
The release notes that come with the client seem to be general for all versions, since they say things like "Sound won't restart after changing parcels", and since we don't even have sound, I doubt that applies to the Linux client =P |

They're not working on the linux client specifically at this point in time so there are no repairs in this release.
