All of a Sudden

I'm getting a black background in the frame and nothing else. All I can do is X or ctrl-c out of the app. The dump seems fine til somewhere in here:

That's the last thing I see before the shutdown request.

Any ideas out there?

is it a network issue? The next line should be:

i renamed the directory, unpacked the tarball and tried it fresh but got the same result.

went to lunch, returned, and it worked. copied a few things like the alpha lib and settings.ini into the new install and it still worked.
