Heh, not really alpha related specifically, but anyone know where to grab the linux version of avimator? the only version that's a working link on the site is the windows binary. I tried Qavimator, but had troubles compiling, and I'm not really savvy enough to figure out why, other than I'm using gnome not kde.

Failing that, anyone know of a bvh editor for linux?

Did you try installing svn (a.k.a. subversion) then follow the instructions at http://qavimator.org/#download - Linux section?

Last year I gave it a try and I managed to get it run (I'm NOT a Linux god ;) ... it looked interesting:

I think you may also try asking Zi Ree ;-)

hehe, thanks :). Good info there.

I did get Qavimator to compile actually. I was being lazy before :P, barely looked at the spew before I threw up my hands. I decided maybe I'd been impatient so I looked again and noticed it was just missing a few dependancies: libXmu-devel, freeglut, and freeglut-devel. All are available in the fedora repositories so it was a simple fix. Works like a charm now :).

Awsome tool. for SL, this is better than poser anyday, at least interface wise. I haven't actually tested an upload yet :).
