Has anyone had problems entering numbers into the object edit tab with just the keyboard? Used to be able to tab through the enteries in a prims object edit... Worse yet, sometimes SL doesnt accept my keyboard entry untill i mouse and delete the number by hand.. I think it wouldnt be a bad thing to when you click on the edit box on a prim, for SL to seize the keyboard and release it when it was done... i like just using the number pad and tabbing through a prims properties, esp when taking a Teazer's class.. its fustrating...
Using 1.12.1.9
ALso am having a problem with the chat log window dissapearing on startup... Doesnt seem to "stick" where i put it on the upper left of the SL window...

Hmm. I haven't had those specific problems, but the number pad doesn't work for me when entering in numeric fields (I have to use the number row on the main keyboard). The number pad always appends rather than overwriting the selected characters or something. The Windows client running under Wine doesn't have that problem. Very annoying, especially when building.

Another data point: I'm not seeing the problem. I can tab and shift-tab around in the edit window and enter numbers--all from the keyboard, mousefree--without any problem.

I can see that the number pad is not only acting on the underlining meaning, but the numeric value as well, like it was being pressed with and without NUMLOCK on.

yeah Drake that's super-irritating. I experience the same thing.
Looks like it's reading both the scan code and the character entity entered. Ugh. (scan codes operate irregardless of numlock/capslock)
