VBO and Windlight advanced settings

Now, call me stupid, but I cannot figure out how to enable VBO and windlight settings, like Glow and reflections. Shaders are not working properly. Here is my system:

Fedora Core 8 Linux, x86_64 archetecture
AMD Athlon 64x2 6000+ processor
2gb DDR2 RAM
NVidia GeForce 7800gs

I have updated the drivers, no go, options are still shaded out. I looking in the secondlife script and nope, the options it tells me to comment out to enable advanced options are already commented out. I have also gone into .secondlife directory and tried to manually enable the options in the xml files, No go also. Anyone have any ideas on why I cannot use shaders, or VBO?

You can activate the VBO in the 'Hardware Options' ( button on bottom right ) of the Graphics tab in Windlight.

If that is activated you will probably be able to activate the extra shaders and glow too...

If you still have problems, please post the output of running glxinfo.
