I'm rather new to the linux client, but I had no problems getting it running. I'm using the first look client in Fedora Core 6, 1.13.3 (57575).
The only problem I'm having is that my inventory is loading at a snail's pace. The world loads just fine, only my inventory is slow. I can see the folder list but almost nothing is in the folders, so I did a search for something and apparently after about 5 minutes I've Fetched about 230 items and still almost nothing is showing up in inventory.
It can also be seen in that my avatar has only partially loaded. I have my shape, my hair, my shoes (both attachments), my skin, and both my pants and shirt are partially loaded.
Anyone seen this sort of behavior before? Any recommendations, further information needed? Oh, no packet loss, bandwidth is set to 1500 which I should be able to get, and disk cache is at 4 gig.
