Here's the text: From: someone AL lib: alsa.c:562: set rate failed: Invalid argumentEven if I remove the reference .alsoftrc, I still get that error. I'd love to see what it's trying to set the sampling rate at, both input and output.  This is to a Logitech headset.

                | Allen Kerensky Registered User Join date: 16 Aug 2004 Posts: 95 | 07-25-2008 09:56 Client 1.20.15 with voice is working on Fedora 8 for me.If I remember correctly from my epic fight with SLvox and Pulse Audio, that error is actually an ALSA bug that Pulse trips over when OpenAL initializes it.

They've gone ALSoft too (the reference implimentation is too old and needed maintance).  So my old tricks aren't working.  I may have to tweak an .asound to do translation.

I got the Plantronics in and got the same errors with the USB plugged in.  I plugged in directly and got working voice.  *grumble*
