I'm reporting the link to the Linux Alpha i686 1.17.0.12 download link is broken. Access denied errors while trying to download from two separate systems.
IE reports a 403 error, Mozilla simply says Access Denied

IE reports a 403 error, Mozilla simply says Access Denied I think you have to wait until the download is propagated to all the download sites they use. Be patient.. you have to anyway.. still one and a half hour before we can log in (I hope so!) Meni

Meni Only twelve minutes to go. I'm starting to get edgy.

Meni I don't think so... The Windoze and MAC clients are available already and do not report the "Access denied" error we got on the Linux viewer... Plus, viewers are usually available for download even before the link is setup on the website (I always download them before the link appears: just a little guesswork to do on the file name)... It more looks like a file permissions error that only LL can fix. In the mean time, you may use the beta viewer on the main grid (yes !), by removing the `cat gridargs.dat` parameter from the execution line in the secondlife script to get something like this:: LD_LIBRARY_PATH="`pwd`"/lib:"`pwd`"/app_settings/mozilla-runtime-linux-i686:"${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}" $LL_WRAPPER bin/do-not-directly-run-secondlife-bin $@ | cat or... compile the viewer yourself (but alas only v1.17.0.11 sources are available for now), which I'm doing right now.
