Hello,

What do we need to do to compile the current 1.19.1 (official) under any 64B (amd64,intel64) with openAl enabled ?

It seems the current (1.19.1) is a bit different from the 1.19.1.4

The idea is writing some kind of HowTo SL64 ;)

Thanks

Sacha

Take my upto date openal/gstreamer patches directly out of my SVN, i only bump the JIRA versions every so often as otherwise there is a big pile of files on JIRA and its confusing;-)

http://slupdate.byteme.org.uk/svn/listing.php?repname=Debian+Secondlife+repository&path=%2Fslviewer%2Fslviewer%2Ftrunk%2Fdebian%2Fpatches%2F&rev=0&sc=0

Should point you directly to the svn browser and into the patches directory.

gstreamer_audio_1.19.1.2.patch
and
slviewer-1.18.6.1-openal.patch
(forgive the name, it *is* updated)

are the ones that you want. The patches are maintained with my debian releases so hopefully will always be up to date, sometimes they will be tracking changes to compile RC's but as we've just had a golden release its all sitting at 1.19.1.4
