Bug confirmed and not fixed in the current version
![]() Just an idea: After selecting a directory for saving the screenshots the Win-Client remembers that and saves all following screenshots into that directory too. Maybe it's possible to set that directory in the settings-file as a work-around. SL-Client: 1.10.5(1) on Ubuntu Linux |

Try using "Help / Report Abuse". It's been said that this option saves a snapshot of the current screen to your SL folder. I use an external Snapshot tool myself (gimp, ksnapshot), so I haven't verified this yet.

The bug report tool trick does work, however, its faster and simpler to use almost anything else

I found that if I remove (well, rename) the libjpeg.so in the Second Life distribution so it uses my system libjpeg, postcards will start working. I guess the libjpeg version that SL was compiled against isn't the same as the version it's distributed with!

Removed it, which doesn't affect much of anything... but uploading the new snapshot works!

Checked with a non-modded version. I can still upload snapshots.

Good, but... my workaround and the OP weren't talking about uploading snapshots - the bug is with sending postcards.
