Hi!
I remember that music has always worked on my system during the past weeks, but lately it seems I cannot hear to the music on SL anymore. Every time i go to a music enhanced area, and I click the "play" button, nothing happens, and "stop" button is automatically selected.

The console says:
2006-09-29T20:54:24Z WARNING: InternetSteam - failed to open
2006-09-29T20:54:24Z INFO: Stopping internet stream: http://screlay-dtc0s-3.shoutcast.com:8080

I can't understand the reason... I can listen to normal streams over the internet, but it seems I can't on SL...

what can I do?

my system is Ubuntu Dapper, last client (13). (i had the same problem with the previous one).

I run Dapper KUbuntu, and I`m running (13) also, but it`s working for me. I wish you luck!

Are you listening to OGG streams?

There appears to be a known issue with regard to listening to OGG format streaming audio.

It seems it is not officially supported.

If you try and listen to ogg, it will crash your client sooner or later. Most likely sooner. This is not Linux specific, it happens on OSX as well.

THAT just sounds like a broken or overloaded stream server.
