Ahhh, reminds me of Wolfox Radio and my reshouter.
You may want to take control of the entire setup. You're using Nullsoft/AOL's Shoutcast server on a Linux setup? If so, you may find Icecast not only more compatible, but also better to setup on Linux. icecast.org is the URL. Are you trying to stream from a Linux system to a Shoutcast or Icecast server? http://icecast.org/3rdparty.php may help. _____________________

Use Shoutcast...

It's actually amazingly easy...
http://www.shoutcast.com/download Scroll down... it's in the windows DSP plugin section, just under the first screenshot. Instructions - Unix, Linux & MAC OSX Not a Windows or Winamp user? Don't worry, we've got you covered! For our advanced users on Mac OS X, Linux and Unix, the UNIX/Linux version of the SHOUTcast Radio DSP permits input from a soundcard in addition to MP3 files on disk. Please refer to the example .conf file included with the archive for more information. Please note that this method of broadcasting is currently in beta and therefore unsupported. Please use at your own risk. Download the SHOUTcast Radio DSP for Unix/Linux/MAC OSX here. Link (currently) is... http://yp.shoutcast.com/downloads/sc_trans_posix_040.tgz Note: The link will probably change before too long. Also Note: You want the DSP, not the DNAS... unless you want to run a shoutcast server. Which is also really easy to setup. With sc_trans_posix_040.tgz downloaded, tar xvzf it, and there are a whole three things to worry about... executable: sc_trans_linux Conf file: sc_trans.conf playlist: example.lst Edit sc_trans.conf to change the ServerIP and ServerPort (if needed). Also set the Password to the stream password. Probably want to change your StreamTitle/URL/Genre as well. Finally, change the Bitrate/SampleRate if desired. Now edit example.lst to set your playlist - just put in the list of files to stream. Keep in mind... everything in Linux is a file... /dev/mixer... DSP:/dev/audio... all that works just fine, so you can stream out your mic, your mixer, /dev/soundcard... you get the point. It'll take some playing around with your soundcard and such to get everything working just right. |

You might have wanted to replied to a different message. Click the reply button on the message you're replying to, not the most convenient one you see (threading breaks when you just click a random one). |

I replied to the forum thread I meant to reply to. Thanks for your concern though... I'll make sure to keep an eye out for errant "random reply buttons", and let you know if I see any. Just because I'm curious now... what the heck are you talking about? Are you reading this through email or some other app besides the web forum? The forum thread looks fine. I did change the subject on my post though... so if you are using some email/threading client to read it, that's probably why it's messed up for you. |

It's not just the thread, it's the individual message. When you're viewing in threaded mode in the forum instead of linear mode, you see how the thread is unfolding a little more clearly. But only when people are replying to the message they are replying to, and not just hitting any reply button on the thread. |

maybe http://darkice.tyrell.hu/http://darkice.tyrell.hu/ and http://darksnow.radiolivre.org/index.en.html are what you are searching for. |

I don't have Reply buttons for individual posts. There's a Quote button, but there's no Reply button on individual posts. Is this different for some users?
